Revitalization of a historical industrial area at River Spree

We are proudly announcing our newest project located in the neighborhood “Nördliche Luisenstadt” in the heart of Berlin-Mitte. Now known as “Eiswerk” (ice factory), Trockland is planning the refurbishment and development of a plot stretching between Koepenicker Strasse 40-41 and the river Spree. Here, between the two bridges Schillingbrücke and Michaelbrücke, the remainders of one of Germany’s oldest artificial ice production companies will be brought to new life. Once operating as Norddeutsche Eiswerke A.G., the former factory is now a listed monument and was build between 1909 and 1910.
