TROCKLAND BRINGS PROPERTY MANAGEMENT IN-HOUSE

Trockland is continuously working on improving all measures in the asset life cycle. Our latest initiative is the development and integration of our own property management department. Now part of asset management, Trockland Property Management both caters to own and third-party properties. As we constantly strive to offer better services to tenants, we are very happy to announce two new and very experienced colleagues joining us: Ms Jessica Liese, head of property management, and Mr Christian Kietzmann, property manager. We have known the two experts for many years and worked successfully together. The new property management is available by phone at +49 30 2363137-136 and by e-mail at hausverwaltung[at]trockland[dot]com.

It has become a fine tradition for Trockland to celebrate the kick-off of a project with all involved, including the team, construction partners, and business partners. Once again it was time to come together to celebrate the outset of PIER 61|63 at the stylish Sage restaurant. Located at the opposite river banks of PIER 61|63, it was the perfect ending point of the preceding guided Berlin Wall tour. On this occasion, we would like to thank our guests and hosts for their time and stimulating conversations.

Since its inception in 2015, the ID Festival Berlin has been offering Israeli-German artists a platform to present their works to a larger audience in Berlin. This year, the ID Festival was devoted to the various aspects of "integration". The Israeli artist Adar Aviam and the German artist Jim Avignon decided to approach the theme through a jointly created wall painting. Trockland supported the project and provided temporarily unused premises in BRICKS Berlin Schöneberg for the creation of the large-size work. Each of the two artists has his individual style and began the painting with own sequences. They met one another in the center and united in a common image in which the artistic standpoints and styles of both cultures merge. More information: ID Festival Berlin

“Stolpersteine” (stumbling stones) started as an art project to commemorate all victims of Nazi persecution in front of their last chosen place of residence. A Stolperstein would symbolically return them to their neighborhood so many years after being torn away from their daily lives.
Since November 2016, four “Stolpersteine” in front of the house Koepenicker Strasse 40-41 gives the family Baruch a face. They lived here until 1942 and the parents Richard and Gertrud committed suicide to escape the expected deportation. Their son Martin Moshe Baruch was able to escape in 1938 to Palestine. Now, for the first time, his descendants from the US visited Berlin and in particular the home of their great-grandfather, grandparents, and father. Together with neighbors of Koepenicker Strasse, team members from Trockland and the Stolperstein association, they commemorated their ancestors in a touching ceremony. During their days in Berlin, the Baruch family was able to learn much more about their loved ones through research support from the volunteers of Stolpersteine Berlin. For us, it was wonderful to see what impact this initiative makes in people’s lives. More information: Stolpersteine Berlin

EISWERK is Trockland’s newest project. On the occasion of its kick-off investors, business partners, and the Trockland team came together on a wonderful summer day to celebrate the start. The project’s iconic location at the river Spree and its history framed the program, from a site inspection with ice-cream, a boat trip through historical Berlin, to a delicious dinner at Katerschmaus. The restaurant inside the Holzmarkt cooperative is located right at the river and provides great views of EISWERK, located at the opposite river bank.
